Located in Key Largo, FL, Dolphins Plus is one of the premier dolphin research facilities in the nation whose focus is to educate the public about the dolphins and their environment. There are ten Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and a California Sea Lion at the facility, and students will have the opportunity to not only learn about dolphins, but will be able to get into the water with them as well. In addition, Dolphins Plus works closely with the Marine Mammal Rescue Foundation to help save injured or stranded animals in the Florida Keys.
